Well if it's the full system, it's because of the O2 sensor location. The MY08 O2s are located closer to the cylinder heads.

No, the slip-on is only listed for 2009-2010 models as well.

Not sure why, but I (personally) will not let that stop me from installing one. YMMV

I have send an e-mail to FMF asking the same, and await their response.

Yes I meant the slip on. And haus ur bike looks really good. Where did u get those flame decals from? They are a decal right not paint?

ebay auction tons of pieces just the make your own type of set. Fun part is once your happy with one side you have to duplicate it on the other LOL.........
