Does anyone know if the belly pan from Buell will fit up to the fairings that they had offered?

And if anyone has had the plastic to warp a bit from the pipe and had it cover under warranty work cause of it. I know that there is a service bulletin out for it now. Just don't know if they are going to warranty/fix it.

Got a copy (or number) of the service bulletin?

Warranty will not cover the fairings from melting... its in that tech tip they released back in october or so.

As for the belly pan, You might be able to "make " it work, but its definitely not plug N play

warranty will cover that somewhat triangular plastic panel on the rightside of the bike if it melts or is damaged from the exhaust. i worked for a dealer and warrantied several.

The warranty might cover it if they were dealer fitted when the bike was bought - as mine were. The paperwork I received said the warranty covered the bike plus all dealer fitted accessories.. But I'm in the UK so it may be different here..

The service bulletin was only the one to bend the bottom R/H brackets (wasn't it) I had to do mine as it was still touching the pipe so I added a smal plastic spacer too.. Seems fine now..

Thank to all, I'll have to check my paper work. The dealer installed them while it was in the show room. I told them about it several times, but they never did anything to really fix it. I put some 1/4" nylon spacers off the motor side of the brackets and a longer bolt on the front one. That made it perfect!

Thanks again, Kevin
