Yep that's right.

There is a kit to repair it. It's the internals that get R&R.

Enjoy the ride.

If the main cover is damaged from the leaking fluid, it should be covered also. Mine was replaced for this last year. 4 times.

Only 100 miles on my CR and already dreading the day it breaks down. Looks like a 99% chance.

Puck leaks twice early in the year, rev b cover with a new full clutch cover in august, then again in september, finally got the rev c cover. No leaks since, but I only put 4000 miles on it after the last warranty service.

It's all good now.

7000 miles on my 09 Cr, a little under 1000 on my 08 R, neither of them have lost a drop of fluid.

You could of changed the gaskets 20 times and have it still leak if you used the old gasket design. The new ones don't leak, period. Hell, I don't even know what ones are in my bikes, but they haven't leaked either.

Your 08 could have any of the three versions, the 09, either b or c. They changed the orings and cylinder twice, rev a. Third time was rev b and I got it 1 week before rev c came out. : ( One month later, it was leaking so bad I couldn't even make it 30 miles to the dealer. It peed out the side almost 2 feet when I squeezed the lever. I got dot4 all over my right boot and pant leg from the spray back while in motion.

Your insurance company.

I don't see how not having the clutch would cause an accident, I rode my XB about 150 miles with a broken clutch cable and I was fine. It was a little tricky in parking lots, so I usually ended up getting in neutral, cut the engine and then pushed it.

Seriously, let the dealer fix it and quit worrying about it.

"Seriously, let the dealer fix it and quit worrying about it".

What ever gave you the idea I'm not?
Parts are ordered from the "dealer".. I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting every thing I should..

I thought there was a whole new case cover but, apparently there isn't.besides the ones damaged by fluid..
