1st chart and third chart have big differences .Look where the hp and tq meet on the first and third chart. This is why it so important to do before and after mods same day same dyno. Its just a tool to see before and after mods .Im not bashing anyone charts here just clarifying different dynos have way different results.

Yea thats what i was thinking, because regardless of the engine, shouldnt HP and Torque cross at 5250?

What pisses me off is when both lines aren't on the same scale, like pic #1.

Looks good except for one thing.Your hp dropped off.I believe your straps were loose or something.Or it could be the dyno?

If I remember correctly that dyno run was done the day after the 3rd flash was loaded in. The air box cover was removed and it had the K&N filter in it. The only other thing was the exhaust tip mod that I did which does open up the exhaust some. A little extra lean at that RPM?

Easyrider,
Have you run just the K&N with stock everything else?
Can the K&N alone, be causing the erratic dyno charts, in the mid too upper rpm. range?
Thanks,

Troy

chevycummings The sock exhaust exits are 1.125 and are covered by 1.650 stainless straights for looks. If you purchased those turnouts off ebay the id is 1.650.I dont think that could be restricting anything.Just a thought. The turnouts have smooth bends and a even bigger exit since its cut slightly oval.If it was one of those cinky exhaust shop bends I'd say maybe. But its a smooth bend. Just wanted to point that out.I have reason to believe the k&n might not be good for these bikes unless proper tuning is used.Air box lids off will gain power down low and sound cool but kill your top end due to lose of ram air effect.

Tbenson,

Yes that is possible, The engine will protect itself by taking timing out, Just that is what you see on your graph i think by lean mixture, cold engine, or too hot engine you get charts like that.
