Does anyone have information on the radiators used on the 1125RR? To me they don't look like the stock ones. Where do they come from?

I am aware that on the EBR Web site there was a comment that a cooling package will be available. But I'm still curious about the possibility of putting a system together myself. I'm also aware of the Flexi-Glass system which looks like it might offer a little more radiator protection.

No, just curious. This could lead to another project.

What would be the benefits? In high summer, I hit the temp light regularly enough on track days. Switching to water wetter helped.

I've talked with a Buell engineer, and he indicated in testing they ran the motor up to 250F and it was fine. (Temp light at 230F)

It does loose some power that hot, though.

Big weight savings. 15 - 20 pounds just from eliminating the fan system, and the engine runs cooler.

230F is already way too hot to be racing at, 250F is ridiculous. We never wanted to see anything higher than 100C(212F) with optimum being within 80-90C(176-194F). The motors are tested to their limits at the factory and just because they survive these tests doesn't mean they should be operated at those conditions. Combustion is pretty unstable at those temps, the stock motors don't usually suffer too much, but you are on the fine line of detonation there and possibly warping the exhaust valve seats.
