What's the chances of getting $5500- $6000 for my bike? I already have an 09 CR,so I was thinking of selling the R. Ebay has some for over $6000, but I don't know if that's what they will sell for. Just trying to feel this out before I sell it or just decide to keep it.

If you can afford to, hang on to it for awhile until all the new one's are gone and used prices start to go back up. I don't think you'd get that money for it right now. I think you can still find new ones for not much more than that if you look hard enough.

Not to mention that it's winter and the economy isn't exactly booming. I've got a couple bikes for sale (an SV1000S and a CB-1) but haven't had much in the way of bites yet. Fortunately it's not hurting me to hold onto them, so I'm hoping to have better luck in the spring.

Spring may bring a bump just because its riding season, but this year maybe as rough or rougher than last year. Economy is still a pile of poop, unemployment is still going up, and businesses are still making layoffs. Sams Club just announced a layoff of I think it was 12000.
