So my 2010 1125R is on its way and i have a list of parts on order. First and most important i think is the Jardine pipe and open filter (K&N).

After several searches im still very confused. Do i want to just ride and let the ECM adjust to the new pipe/filter, reflash the ECM or should i add some sort of fuel management to richen up the mix.

This bike will be used for fun only both street and track so which shall i tell the dealer to do.

Thanks for your help.

Tim

Right? It's not exactly crap but it sure won't do everything you want. If you have the patience and deep enough pockets there are much better options than a Jardine.

There may be better pipes out there but nearly all i have come across look as hideous as the stocker. The Jardine carbon fiber will give me a better look and some improvements if i can figure out the lean issue.

Any one use this one yet?

Im right with you on this one.

To my taste, the Jardine CF is the best looking pipe out there (except for the Free Spirits,...but that full system is damn expensive and it seems the slip-on has issues).

Zero experience with tuning here, so im waiting for some of you guys to figure it out and follow : )

Hi, I'm new to this site as a member. I've been reading a lot of your posts since I purchased my bike. I have an 08 1125r that I got new. I got to be one of those lucky one's catching them as they dropped really low in price. I was wondering what you guys think about the FMF Apex pipes? I wrote to FMF with a crude microsoft paint showing them that they should take their full race pipe, and make a slip on out of the muffler they use with it. Take a look at there site and tell me what you guys think. I think their full race setup is the best looking pipes I've seen, but I don't have the $$ to buy the full race system.
