Aerostich has one that's supposed to be 132 db.

Nickcaro put the Stiebel air horn on his 1125R somehow, I don't recall where it was, but it was a little tricky to mount.

Saw ad for airhorn from Aerostich in an old mag...looked rite-sized, but I prefer to whistle & wave at da Girls...also saw some at miniBIKE WEEK in vendor area. Nice & gaudy with CHROME! Those were interesting, just do not see a need as am an ol'N slo rider...

I've got a Stebel halfway mounted on my 1125rt. I've mounted the air compressor under the seat. Next I need to rig some wiring and mounting the horn itself. All it takes is time, I've already spent the $'s.

Ccryder, isn't the Stebel Nautilus an all in one unit? Or is it another model?

You can seperate the black plastic horn from the air compressor motor by a hard slap/ hit on the end of the a/c-motor.

I've got pictures somewhere but, not on this computer. Oops found them on my iPhone:

Neil, thanks for the pics! Very smart idea for space savings. Will have to do that.

Also, I've seen the Nautilus at Pep Boys for those interested that want instant gratification. I think it was roughly the same price as Aerostich. Maybe slightly more.

Is that compressor roughly the same size as the intake solenoid most of us remove? Looks very similar... Maybe it'd mount there?

It is bigger in diameter than the intake solenoid so it won't fit there.

You could easily stick it in the tail under the back seat. Just have to make sure none of the wiring touches the battery.

Besides, it might be a tight fit.

I think I saw that on an episode of 24. Don't cut the yellow wire, whatever you do.

Chris, I saw the same one!

Since I have a few farkels that require power I decided to have a distribution point in the tail section. Some of the extras:
LED license plate frame (stop and turn)
LEDs on Givi bags (stop and turn)
Kisan Tailblazar
LED turnsignals Turn and running circuits)
Power for front terminal strip for GPS, Amplirider, and XM.

Those terminal strips are all ignition controlled so when the key is off, they are off.

BTW, power for the Stebel horn A/C (air compressor)motor will come from the battery via an ignition controlled relay. For short bursts the A/C can draw some amps but, IT IS WAAAY LOUD!!!!!! That is what we want right???

FWIW, I installed a Fiamm Low Note horn from NAPA Auto Parts in parallel with the stock horn. It gives the little bike a BIG presence when needed.; )

There's a nice place to hide the relay inside the left rad cover too.

I contacted Nick and got the current URL to his pictures which is:

http://nick-caro.com/web/stebel/

They were very helpful for me to install the horn on my bike. Works great and is very loud!
