A few too many questions, but I need answers. On the High Performance exhaust that we talk about in these threads, is it a full exhaust? Headers back. And has the fuel mapping ever been sorted out? What do velocity stacks really do, for performance? Any numbers out there? Is it possible to convert your CR/R to right side drive? What would be the benefits? The Buell Racing Exhaust is a full system, does it put out more or less HP over the HPE exhaust? Is there a kit to remove these mirrors, and place the turn signals else where? And where do you place them? Can these handle bars be raise about 1/2 to 1 inch? I just bought a 2009 CR and love it. I didn't realize there was so much to do to it. How about porting and polishing the heads, what is ya'lls take on it? How much does that normally cost? Thanks for all or any of the posts.

ERIC D.

Welcome! I think in order to help you best Ottobotz, we will need to know what you plan on doing with the bike. EG: Drag Racing...Road Racing...Street...etc.

Lots of good questions. If you have more questions, to make it easier for some of the old farts ; ) on the board type them out like this.

1. Is this a question?
2. How many questions was that?

Right on, not trying to nit pick but a jumbled mess of questions can be a pain to sift through... I will try to answer some of your questions when you reply with your goal(s).

You would be better off breaking it up and making several threads for the different topics, one for the exhaust questions, one for the right side drive, etc.

It's also worth searching the forum for previous posts as most of those question have been asked and answered before...

Not having a go - just making a friendly suggestion

Alright, lets try this again. I am new to this forum so maybe I should've attacked these questions in a different manner.

1)Which is a better exhaust, Buell Racing or HPE?

2)Is the HPE a full exhaust?

3)Has the fuel mapping w/the HPE have been sorted?

I like the way they both sound, looks are cool, but PERFORMANCE is better.

4)Do velocity stacks increase horse power?

5)What benefits do a rightside drive have?

6)Does a port and polish affect the performance of the bike?

7)And is it possible to raise the handle bars on my CR about a half to an inch higher?

I have read the forums that pertain to my questions, and I have found no answers.

What I'm looking for is more power. No drag racing, just street racing, and track days here and there. I just want a really sick looking and sounding bike w/ a few bragging rights, and the power to back it up.

Do you have the clubman bars or the high bars?

Assuming that they are clubman.

Clubman = from the clamp, they bend forward.

High bars = bend upwards.

They are the clubmans.
Just wondering if they could be raised, or tilted back, I just need about an inch.

Are the High Bars easy to install?
Do the High Bars affect the steering?
