I do understand both bikes were built for totally different purposes. I don't believe that my 1125r can out run his busa. In the same notion I do believe I would give the poor fella one hellava run for his money back home in French Lick, Indiana. There is one road leading there that is as close to the mountains you can get. Full of almost 90* turns and let me tell ya what it does take your breathe away.(NO gaurdrails)

Ahhh yes good old Orange County. Paoli peaks should be covered by now! Been there done that some of the best roads in IN (I spent 12 years in EVV searching for good roads).

Red, look up HWY 550 in CO. You want corners that will take your breath away. Hell, you'll be puckered so tightly that you will end up with diamonds coming out of your rear.

after 2 Busa's and 5 Buells
I have no doubt the Buell is the king of handling.

I have a busa that I have put 76,000 miles on. I love the bike, it handles very well, and is a great bike for long trips. I can hold my own with most people in the twistys on it. On the other hand, my cr is so much easier to ride at the same, and even faster pace. The first few rides on it I would run the turn to tight, the bike turns so much easier and quicker. So in my opinion, the busa is not equal to the cr in the corners, but it is a great bike for what it is. No doubt the cr is faster in the corners. They are just different motorcycles, both great in their own way.

You ain't kidding. Make a mistake on one of those corners and it's 1,000+ ft down you go.

I rode that thing in the pouring, cold, miserable rain and heavy fog one trip up to CO. Not a lot of fun.

Jdugger, well, I must say that 550 is probably one of the best roads in CO to ride IMO. My ride on it was worth every min. I wish I could get time to do it again, but alas I don't think that will happen before I leave here.
