Can anyone tell me how to do the manual afv reset? Was at dealer earlier for iac replacement. 40 miles or so later check engine light. Fuel error afv.

Turn the key on, Open the throttle from closed to Wide open three times. Turn the key off. Turn the key back on and start the engine. Should be reset at 100 and will adjust itself from there.

I thought that was the tps reset procedure.

That is the TPS reset, I did it last night.

I am unaware of any way to reset it without riding it or a computer, but I don't got my SM in front of me to check.

maybe it was the tps reset i was thinking about also.

anyway rode back to dealer had them clear code and do the reset.

300+ miles today. last time i did this trip i had clubmans, stock pegs and stock seat... MUCH better this time with firebolt custom seat, uly pegs and high bars!
