Does anyone have better directions and pics since I can't figure out the ones that came with it?
I am in the process of installing the HID kit.
Thanks

The H7 guide on their website is perfect, thats pretty much the way its done on the CR. Only omitted steps are removing the headlamp assembly obviously. : )

Those were some awesome directions but were did you guys mount the ballast? It's a tight fit in there.

I just stuffed it in the flyscreen. I didn't bother to secure it, as my cigarette outlet, phone charger, GPS wiring, and soon to be installed heated grips prevent the thing from moving : )

Does the ballast get warm or hot? I was thinking of good ol velcro.

Warm at best. You couldn't melt an ice cube with it.

Also FYI, the high beam has a different bulb holder than the low beam, so a normal H7 kit will not work.

I put a PIAA extreme white 4000k bulb in for the high beam. Holy shit is that HID bulb bright. When I first turned it on I was looking straight at it. It took me a minute until I could see again : )

Didn't you get the little piece of paper saying something like "Caution: Do not look directly into the light, as it uses similar technology as an arc welder"? : D

what color temp are you using hdwrenchtx. thinking of going 4300k on mine. i want something close to what the high end euro cars come with from the factory. lotta guys here running 6000K or higher. looks like bluish light to purple to me. i think that color just messes with my eyes. bright as hell but i still feel like i can't see as well.
