I'm debating some paint for the CR. i sort of have a thing for old war planes and my 4 year old son is nuts about anything that rolls or flies. i have included some pics for where I'm thinking of going with this. I'm using the p40 Warhawk for inspiration. plan on doing the flying tiger with 2 color camo. maybe put the eyes on the fly screen. or maybe leave the flyscreen red to emulate the front of the prop and put the eyes on the airbox. the mouth looks like a good fit on the radiator snorkel and I think it will have to extend to the frame. I'd appreciate it if some of you could give me your opinion. thanks    | ||

That looks cool, but it may be a bit different if you bend your design to the pods,might have to shorten the mouth a bit... | ||

Your design transforms the pods from functional but weird to something of real beauty. I've always thought that the lights look kind of like eyes, but you've made it happen. Stunning. | ||

here is the updated placement for the teeth and eye. i'm gonna do a two color camo job on the rest to the plastic except for the flyscreen. i'll leave it red like the leading edge of the prop cone on the plane. i'll be up dating when i start the project.  | ||

Micro, Cool, original idea! You may want to size the graphic down by 1/3 to 1/2. Proportionally, it may look better. Whatever you decide, make sure and post some finished pics. | ||

What about having a hot lady on the bike as the fighter planes did back in the day's.  Maybe make the graphic you have chosen smaller and fit a hot lady in there then people will truly understand it's a fighter plane look. Fun idea for sure. | ||
