That's nice, what does it do to the air/fuel ratio though?

Its hard to convey how LOUD this thing is. IMHO, too loud.

We had to use a special audio recording system to capture the sound with out distortion.

That sounds super Barker. The bike bark's man in your name : ). Do the quiet inserts muffle it too much? I love being loud for the reason that if they hear you they might not hit you.
Nice pipe.

When Barker and I were at the track Saturday, I got an opportunity to listen to his bike lapping with the stock exhaust. It sounded damn sweet to me. Not loud, but it had a nice deep growl to it.

I never say never, but I think this might be a stock pipe I keep.

Where do think I got my start?

If I had a nickel for every time I said "um", that vidja would be worth $1.65.

um. I didn't notice the um's hmmm. In regard's to the common thought that loud pipes save lives theory. That was a decent read I guess but from experience I still disagree. I live in Daytona Beach Florida and there are so many older people driving on the roads here I have noticed a number of times when I had my Firebolt with a D&D pipe on it. I think it made people aware I was there when in blind spots for a brief moment or if they were considering a lane change. You can't hear a loud color that theory only works if your being looked at.
This is a whole different debate altogether though Barkers pipe sounds nice. I still want too know what it sounds like with the inserts in it? Still too loud?

My stock Blast is small and quieter than a mouse, yet I can't recall the last time I had a cager invade or attempt to invade my space. I don't ride like I am invisible, I ride like I don't give a damn if I'm hit.

Barker, that thing must be loud, as I had to turn up the volume to hear you speak, then turn it back down to no go deaf when you fired it up. I can't wait to hear one in person. : )

Well froggy you better hope no one does try too invade that blast's space because it won't be able to get out of the way if they do. I ride on some very populated roads and it's not frequent that I have a close call. I'm simply saying every bit that helps you be heard and seen is good. I stand behind my opinion on this. : ).

Got the FMF installed on the CR with insert facing midpipe, sounds great.
Used a Radio Shack sound level meter about 24" from right side of bike at idle and here are the measurements.
weighting A is 95db (500 to 10,00Hz)measuring range
weighting C is 105db (32 to 10,00Hz) measuring range
The manual says the difference in weighting is the frequency range.
I am not a soundologist, sound engineer or audiologist.

Hey Barker that thing sounds great. Did you notice a change in the midrange torque/power?

I was going to keep the stock pipe for a while but thats the first aftermarket pipe I really like the look and sound of.

Where did you get it from?

MB, what's on your schedule for Saturday PM?

I'm trying to schedule some dyno time to see how many AMerican ponies the Torque Hammer will unleash. I don't have anything with that rez or audio quality. Maybe we could make a vid or two. Give me a shout.

I'm hoping to have a DB meter soon.

Initially after the install and the new flash (AFV@ 100) it was kinda lacking but after a few miles the AFVs tick up and it runs great according to the seat of the pants dyno.

CC,

I'm @ Tally GP for another trackday Sat. Maybe another time we can make a vidja for the TQ hammer.
