if anyone is thinking about ordering those handguards you can get the LED's for them $3 cheaper if you order them seperately than if you add them on the handguard page.

save 3 bucks. i am sure that is a years salary to those making the mirrors

i put the handguards on today. i have them wired as running lights. i am waiting on my hong kong mirrors. when they get here i am going to wire them and the bullet lights as turn signals. I installed the bullet lights behind the fly screen. I didnt want to drill into that and it would make removing it a PITA. oh yeah this is with the high bars.

installed the mirrors today. no surprise they are not only inexpensive but cheap.

I cracked the plastic on one trying to get it tight.

hand guards are running lights mirrors and bullets for turn signals.

Hdwrenchtx: How did your DDM HID install go? Plenty of room under the fly screen? Did you just do the low beam?

And most importantly, since you're a picture fanatic like I am, could you get a shot of the beam pattern against a wall or something for me? Thanks!

install was simple. no problem fitting everything under the fly screen. I just stuck the ballast and wiring right in the middle and zip tied it to the existing wiring so it wouldnt flop around.

I'll try to get a pic of the beam pattern tomorrow. I am taking it to the dealer anyway and I want them to check the headlight alignment. On high beam it is where I think it should be but on low i think it is a little low. I dont think I can fix the low without making the high beam too high but I'll ask them.
