I have a dream. I ordered all the parts. I officially started the conversion today. So far I only have the fairing bracket. This week I should get all the other parts, while the Red fairing is on back order till Jan.

I have some interesting shots because it looks like there is more to the 1125CR triple tree than I had expected. I could use the original speedo mount location or the new 1125R location. Or I could use one of these mounts for a GPS or something. Looks like I don't even need to swap the ignition switch (although it looks dumb). Later when my keyless ignition comes in I can just get rid of the ignition switch all together. I'll post more later as the parts come in.

If you have a complete parts list needed for the conversion could you post it up or pm it to me? Thanks

I just got the accessory high handlebars would they work with the r fairing?

They would work but I have two concerns.

1. You need the CR upper triple tree
2. One of the wires shown in the picture above looks like it will be very tight. This is the wire that goes over the bracket.

I am hoping once I get the other parts in I can reroute the wire somewhere else.

Hey Icontender, any more success with this? I'm getting ready to try the same thing.
