I happily spent 60 bucks for the 2009 Official Factory Service Manual, pn: 99491-09Y, hoping to learn the intricacies of my cr. What it does cover, it covers very well. Nice pictures, nice exploded diagrams, very spiffy wiring diagrams and well written. But, what it doesn't cover is vast. Nothing about entering or interpreting the instrument cluster diagnostics, nothing about electrical tolerances for any of the sensors.

Do I need another manual?

Thanks. The parts guy said nothing about this manual existing. I'll scrounge around for a part number.

I think you will like that one. Together they cover pretty much everything. I thumbed through one at the dealership and it is very extensive.

Go to your dealership and ask if you can do the same then buy it if you are happy with it.

For sure, get all three. I got the parts and service manuals when I bought the bike, and have the electrical manual on order now at my dealer.

I only got the mechanical and electrical manuals. They've served me well enough so far. Parts manual would be nice, but I didn't figure I'd need it right away. I think I got both for about $90 + tax at my local dealer.

99493-08Y 2008 BUELL XB ELEC DIAG MANUAL Retail Price:$60.00

Just change the -08Y to -09Y for 09 models, and 10Y is pretty obvious : )

Froggy, I believe your post is for the XB manual. 99493-08Y is NOT for the 1125.

Froggy was answering a question about XBs, which I asked. Thanks Froggy.

Slight detour in your thread, back to you.
