some of the guys had some questions about my rear view camera setup. I'll post some of the pics and if you have any questions just ask. You can also look under my last post "Just wanted to say hi" sorry but I didn't know how to copy to new post.

I saw the other postings.... Cool idea.

I have a camera i used for my race car with a wide angle lens, I have thought about using this and a monitor of some kind for mirrors... The camera i have is about the size of a mini BIC lighter, just round like the size of a dime. Makes mounting it easier...

Definitely an alternative.

How well does the display show up in bright sunlight?

All I would need next is it to function as amulti-function display and be able to toggle b/t camera, Sat Radio, GPS, and Bluetooth ;+}

Later

Is the image mirror?

I had something like this on my Firebolt last year, it worked quite well but was not waterproof, funny how good ideas come around - well done.

Is the image mirror?

judging by the pictures and the placement of the cars it is.

is this a legal (inspection) alternative to mirrors? Obviously state to state will be varied, but I'm just curious. I love the idea, but live in NY, with fairly tough inspection laws.
Of course my D&D won't technically pass inspection anyway..

I like the idea. Might be my only real mod to my bike.

As I deconstruct my recent crash, double-checking my blind spot was one of the reasons I went down. This could resolve that.

It's still pricy here but I can watch for sales before spring.

(Remind me, where is the accessory connector on the Firebolt?)

12r or 9r does not have an Accy plug.

Don't know if it is legal in NY but had a couple of cops check it out at a local bike night they didn't say one way or the other.
