I am trying to find a source to tell me what time of paint or coating the frame and rims are, i am having my rims repainted another color and the stock surface will greatly determine the cost of prep. | ||

i have some powder coat stripper that will take off powder or paint off rims in a few minutes. if they have a good stripper there should not be that much of a price difference. the stuff i have is about $600 for 55 gallons though. | ||

i read somewhere that the blue on the frame,swingarm and wheels is a nightmare to strip. Do a search im sure it was on this forum somewhere. Went through the stripper 3 times and still not all removed ! | ||

i am probably going to powder some of my stuff this winter so I'll post up whenever I do that. |
