I would have thought Eslick signed a deal with RMR. RMR signed with Suzuki? Too late to back out? Probably. This will be very interesting to see how it goes. I know one thing for sure. This is awesome. Just to keep the pulse ticking for possibly something big in the future. It also gives HD an out to possibly revive the brand or sell it. Thanks Anon. If you can talk at all about plans for the race parts... IE, with the majority of HD out of the way, does EBR still have to abide by the sell only to licensed racers ordeal? | ||

I am thinking Erik will continue to do that because it is the right and legal thing to do. I could be wrong and the level of proof may well be lower but it is not legal to sell race parts for street bikes. | ||

Dave I agree with you 100%... My question is more aimed towards... "If I break something critical on my bike and I can't get a decent replacement for it..." I understand HD is standing by to provide all our parts and service and warranty needs. I am just curious to see if this is going to be a "Race/Performance Shop" or a "Race Factory Dealer" kinda thing. Frankly the only thing I might be interested in, in the future would be body work and maybe some better, lighter parts here and there. Plus any advances with the Helicon, Rotax engine would be pretty effin sweet to boot. Imagine a new more efficient air box that current owners could buy. Just all kinds of stuff coming to mind.  | ||

I think the track is absolutely the best place to fly. I am so glad that EB is getting back in the game. Only bigger and better things to come in the future! I don't get HD problem with Buell--maybe it was bcause Buell was the only line that was profitable? HD just floated an unearthly sum in unsecured debt. Don't get closing factories, laying people off and then rumors of factories in china?? | ||

Erik will necessarily operate at perhaps a higher level than Harley-Davidson ever did in vetting qualified buyers. There is simply too much liability.
