I have an 09 1125r (late 08 model) with no problems at all. I average 37-40mpg. No low end surging issues. Running temps average 172-180 depending on street or highway running. AF 105 in both front and back. Like I said no problems, the bike runs great. My question is should I mess around and get the latest flash or leave well enough alone? I have an appointment tomorrow and its free. Thanks for your input. |

Do it. My 09 CR runs great, but my 08 R with a newer flash runs better. I plan on doing my CR whenever I have a free weekend. |

I just did the 62 flash on my 08. It seems to run smoother and the motor is a little quiter. Although it is hard to tell though with the roar and thump of my Drummer. |

Chuckc, I was wondering that same thing since my 09R was running great on the 131 version. When I went to 142 (same as 62 for you '08 folks), it runs even better ... It's damn near flawless for a factory tune. I can't really compare mileage since I re-flashed at my first servicing, and the tach has been living closer to redline ever since. Coincidence I guess!
