Yea same here, I have been using my heated gear. That hurricane or whatever happened today really made the commute home fun. I got a text message after I got home from Johnnylunchbox, he saw me on the Taconic and thought I was miserable. I told him, nope, I had a fun time, and having a bald tire on the bike makes it even funner when you get to the turns : )

Who in their right mind would trade an S1 for a CBR??

Anyone who had gotten tired of having to trailer their S1 home. In other words, any number of people.

Most of the Buellers I ride with have other bikes in the garage. We just like motorcycles. They're all fun, one way or another. My old M2 had a variety of problems, but I liked it anyway. I sold it to one of my friends and bought an 1125.

So Budo,

You said, "MarcJoy8, posting your unhapiness here serves no purpose, and will not get you any sympathy from this crowd. This is a Buell enthusiast board and the attitude is either love the brand or leave. I am sorry you are unhappy with your bike, I have been there. The only thing to do is to move on, which is what I did."

Now I am sorry that you have had a problem with your Buell. I note that you also mentioned your unhappiness with your dealer in your profile. I think most people find them to be a very good dealer. I have found the BadWeb to be very helpful and have found that Buell will go above and beyond to help a customer. Sorry you have had a bad time, but I think you are doing new owners a disservice by your statements. Mechanical and electrical things break and malfunction. These are machines build by people. When things don't break, I am happy, but when they do break, well....I am not surprised...that's what they do. Buell's support group always comes through for me. I am sorry it didn't work out for you. Best of luck to you.
