Hi all, I have read through many post on here but never posted myself. I had a 05 XB12 for a few years (sold last winter) and loved it. I always had the plan that I would buy a 1125 from the moment I heard they were going to be made. I wanted to wait until they had the issues all worked out but now that HD killed Buell I have to act now. I cant seem to find any still around. I live near Sacramento CA and would really like a 09 over a 08 just because of fram color. Any help would be great. Also any advice on how to work out some of the deals I have heard people getting. (less than 7k OTD!!!) Thanks guys.

I'm with you. The only deals are out of state. I've had some great offers, but you can't register them in California. I would have to put major miles on it before I could. Seems like there has to be a few in Cali...

Well, NYS has an 8% sales tax, which is nearly as sucky. Mine was 6600 OTD after T&T, reg and title fees, etc.

It stinks. It's about 6 months long. I won't get to the 620 mile break-in before I put the CR away. But, it leaves lots of low milage used bikes to pick from...

I understand we need to pay the tax. But the few dealers I've talked to still wanted close to full msrp.

Try Reno HD/Buell. They may still have some left and they sometimes have CA legal bikes.

I've got either a red or black 1125R available.

What are you going to do about registration?

You can't register a non-CA bike until it has 7500 miles.

You got another address?
