Those of you who have removed the stock mirrors from your 1125r, what block off plates did you use? Looking for the best built and best looking ones out there. So far the ones from American Sport Bike are looking like the ones.

I only know of two, the ones you mentioned from dark horse moto and the ones from Grandstand designs. The DHM ones are plain and the GSD ones are a Pegasus design. I think they are both high quality, just a matter of what look you want.

I have a set of the DHM ones.

Though i think i've found a better solution - I'm going to use some flush blinkers instead, as block offs and move mirrors to bar ends.

Waiting on CRG's to show up and then i'll be off and running - i'll make sure to post pics when i get it done.

They aren't 100% ensured to fit. Got the model from another guy here on badweb. Now that i have them in my grubby little hands they look pretty close though.

They are only secured on one side - first difference i noticed, and made for a honda cbr1000 iirc.

I don't have pics or final fitment done to confirm. I can post a link, but want to be clear that i'm not sure they will be a perfect fit...

Model:
HO4RR-SIG-SMK

"SMK" is for smoke - they have regular clear as well.

Hopefully will have my bar end mirrors this weekend and get these installed with pics for you.

about $50 ($39.95+$10s/h) - may be worth looking online for a cheaper option... but their site kind of sucks for finding the model # - i had to call them.

Anyway - HTH! I'll get pics up soon and confirm if you guys can wait just a few days.

sorry for the thread jack.

Went with the blue Pegasus design from Grandstand on my white/blue '09 1125R. Had my doubts about whether they'd be a bit over-the-top, but...now...when parked...it looks like its going even faster!

BTW...if you get these..just order "1". They come in pairs...and only fools would put a "2" in their on-line order form.

One more thing....I have an extra pair of these if interested
