Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere already; in case it's not been, this ad has appeared in our Australian Motorcycle News (AMCN) magazine:  The bike shown is an Australian-delivery model only (note additional rear mudguard; you'll have to look closely); and the ad copy contains several European spellings; so I'm NOT assuming that it's being offered across the Pond.  Features a special marking, also:  The copy indicates the lower side fairing is free. The angel's wings are VERY appropriate, don't you think (DOA). | ||

Physically, they look like the Buell street fairing kit as offered on buell.com - with custom paintwork. | ||

If you look closely at the fairing it also appears to say "1125RS". I made some phone calls around the dealers yesterday, they know nothing more about this than we do. The ad has been put on the bikepoint and bikesales classifieds websites and printed in AMCN, but the dealers haven't been told anything about this "limited edition". Typical H-D/Buell Australia  I was told by two that there are 2010 models on a ship still, they might know their allocation next week, bikes should arrive in two weeks or so. They don't know what models are coming though. Nice to hear it was created in East Troy, I was starting to fear it was just a marketing photoshop special... | ||

No luck yet, but give me another week  "would they sneak you guys something special?" I don't think they would just for Oz. When the 1125R first came out I don't think we got delivery's until about 6 months or more after the U.S... So to avoid the lag, my *guess* is that this limited edition was planned a while ago (maybe even before the Nov/Dec shutdown was planned, let alone Buell being "discontinued"), they built some just for export and shipped them with the plan to build U.S. versions around November, and that way they could do a worldwide release all at the same time. | ||

Hey all I can confirm that this special fairing kit is for OZ only. HD australia have produced this for the AUS Market and have limited numbers to be sold with NEW BIKES only  Its a shame that finally theres an actual marketing approach to move the product "1125R" out here .. and that Buell is shutting down ..
