Pickin mine up Thursday. They discovered a bad ECM and had a new one overnighted. Now they're waiting on a Fuel Pressure Sensor. Should be here tomorrow. Taking the day off work Thursday to start breakin her in!! Got all my gear sittin by the front door!! | ||

Just added a 2nd to the stable! Just got an 09 CR, RED. Refresh my memory, it is completely normal to have your brand new bike with 2 miles on the odometer and temp tags completely apart on your trailer in front of your house the day you get it home...right? I pulled the airbox off to rip out the noid and pulled the rear apart to get rid of the stupid proprietary battery charger lead the dealer pre-installed so I could use a NORMAL battery tender. ac | ||

Avc8130- my wife asked me the same thing. i said "hell yeah" warning stickers, reflectors, battery tender, denoid, suspension setup, checking fluids, tire pressure etc...lots of "work" to be done! | ||

The battery charger lead should have been one with SAE connectors. If that's what was installed, it will plug directly into the Deltran Battery Tender wire (the part where you plug in the small cable that has either alligator clips or rings). | ||

Hey Avc8130, the plug to the battery tender is not proprietary, I have three different brands and it fit just fine; the shape seems a bit. bulky but it should work just fine. Congrats on the new ride. | ||

My bike arrived in my garage Saturday night. By Sunday night, I had the seats off doing suspension set-up, re-routing the tender cable the dealer installed, and having a look at that solenoid while awaiting my resistor plug arrival. When my wife opened the garage door, she said "Have you even ridden that bike?" Then it hit me that I hadn't even started it yet! So I suppose I'll take it for a spin when the rain lets up, now that we're much better acquainted! Mike | ||

Howdy All, Just adding my name to the list. I ordered an 1125r from Racine HD (WI) on 10/19/09. My salesman assures me that I will have the bike in 2 weeks as he had ordered 15 of them that morning and said he was guaranteed the bikes. I was #14 out of 15 R's that day. My contract states $6420.44 delivered to my door. I live 8 miles from East Troy. I haven't ridden one of these bikes yet. I am sure it will be a hell of a lot more fun than the Vrod I owned a few years back. | ||
