Froggy, those are numbers for the silver Uly pegs? I thought they were around $70/set? Maybe the black Uly pegs are that much? ($70)

The 2009-up black Uly pegs with grippier surface are $86.55 a set. That's probably what you're thinking about.

This is the black peg kit:

N0006.1AK FOOTPEG KIT, RIDER, LEFT AND RIGHT Retail Price:$86.55

The silver pegs are horrible, I wouldn't even give them to someone as a gift.

Maybe I'll just run a regular set of Lightning pegs with the 1" drop.

I had the silver Uly pegs first.
They were OK, but the black ones look better on Loretta and stick better too.

IIRC the Lightning pegs take a little filing to fit.
I like the broader Uly pegs, but I'm 55 yrs old too.

You can see the sawtooth pattern in the black pegs that help improve grip.

Hmm Silver Uly pegs with a couple strokes of a good file = sawtooth like black pegs...: )

I thought the only difference was the color, didn't know about the shape of the "cleats"
