FYI .. my CR did have the later generation rear flashers with the White Tape stripe on them. Maybe they are longer. Are you guys with problems installing on a 2008 bike?

I had the same problem with the wires not reaching on an "08 and I found just as Marcodesade said and it was fine. And they had the white tape.

Also the white tape on the wires mean nothing. As Court stated, the blinkers with the grey sealant inside are supposed to be the newer ones, if I remember correctly.

When I contacted Robert at XBLights about a light for my 1125R, it was the first one he did.
I pulled the rear plastic and took pix and measurements and connector types for him.

When he got the light done and sent to me, it slid into place and "just worked".

My turn signal wires fit fine. I didn't have much extra slack, but enough for the connection

If you don't want to cut away the plastic under the tail to get some light on your license plate, check these out.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EUQLZI

you just have to do your own wiring but they work great. I also had to take a file to the bolt holes on the fender eliminator to make the bolts fit. I managed to find a site that had them on special and i think after shipping I only paid around $10.

If any of the sponsors carry them I'll change the link to theirs.
