picked up my cr this last Tuesday with 27 miles on the odometer put about 40 miles on it Wednesday and then rode it yesterday and the speedo started wigging out then went to 0 then came back on and then took a shit again I traced wiring from vss sensor to the harness connector and wiring all looked good tite connection at connector suspect bad sensor anyone else run in to this??

Sounds like the VSS. Warranty item.
Speedo was freaking then finally threw CEL.

Same thing happens to my bike but it only does it when it is hot out. I have been to busy to get it in the shop and now that the weather is cooler it won't do it.

Yup, the speedos and sensors die; warranty will fix both.

The good thing is if you have an '08 you'll get an '09 speedo with gear and voltage indicators.

My speedometer and odometer stopped working early on. Turned out to be a blown fuse and loose ground.

Daggar - Glad to hear it was an easy fit. I've heard from others that poor grounds are the source of many of the 1125's problems.
