My cousin is in the same jam, he recently sold his 08 to get a Fat Boy, and now because of the incentives he wants to pick up a Uly or something too, but San Diego won't budge of MSRP.

Here in Phoenix Chandler HD still won't play.

I went in last Saturday looking for a 09 CR and they responded with $10,059 OTD.

Went back today, and even after the salesman inadvertently called me a knuckle head (said, yeah these knuckle heads come in here asking for $4,999)... I still spoke to a sales manager about a 08 R model as opposed to the 09 CR. Mind you, they have had 08 R left overs on the floor for 5 months with $8,999 on the tags...

End result on the 08 was still only $9,600 ish... OTD.

I guess I can't blame them for not wanting to give them away.

Either way, I'm am not a new 1125 owner. Sure do envy all of you with your bargain deals.

California HD was selling 1125 at $7995, and they had a CR or 2 at $6995.

Not sure if there are anymore CR's at that price, but there were at least 2 left in the showroom last weekend.

Picked up my Buell 1125R today after purchasing it yesterday for $5000 at Long Branch HD in NJ. Got it just in time they only had a custom built racing 1125 left. I put over 100 miles on it today what a blast. The guys at LB HD did a great job of preping the bike, they have Buell experts. Best of all they will be servicing Buells as they do now for well into the forseeable future.

Picked up 2 new 09 CRs to be delivered from Indiana. Planning on storing one in my living room. I just have to figure it out how to move it upstairs. How many guys would it take to carry it up 1 flight of (12) stairs? Perhaps part by part.

That just depends on how well you ride and how brave (or stupid depending on your point of view) you are. You could try and do it by yourself but if you do get someone to video it for us : )

real answer is 4 guys.....1 on either side pushing up and 2 at the top with a rope pulling. Not too hard to do with the right guys

From Cowboy HD in Austin, TX. '09 1125CR, $6,247.75 out the door, with the high bar kit thrown in (uninstalled, I want to wait a bit first). Rode it home this afternoon, sticking to side roads so I could break it in with lots of roll-ons, etc. WOW. What a bike! They have a few left, but not many...

Just bought a 2009 1125CR for $6600 OTD. I had to purchase the high rise handle bars so with installation it was an extra $500 ($6100 + 500). I also bought the extended warranty for $1299 (5 extra years) and the tire/wheel package for $499. Do you think the warranty is worth $1299? I can cancel within 30 days for full refund.

I picked up a white 1125R w/blue trim and wheels at Western Reserve HD in Mentor, Ohio today for $7200+ tax, got the Buell full fairing kit for dealer cost at $300.00. Icontender, no I don't think the warranty is worth it. But that's a personal choice. Other than stupid little items like turn signals. you don't have to worry about the engine. or drivetrain. Not the absolute greatest deal, but I'm satisfied. I'm also very pleased with the customer service by Jim Richards and Mike Irwin. I traveled from Cincinnati area all the way to Mentor. Western Reserve HD was a top notch experience. Not happy with several other dealerships though.

I'm going to end up getting mine for $9600... Now I know that sounds horrible, I'm stationed out in Guam so that adds to the shipping cost. Shipping is $1500, plus I'm getting the 5yr warranty and tire/wheel service added for $1200. So pretty much after fees and everything, which are pretty steep out here, I'm paying $6900 OTD.

My question though is if the 5yr warranty and tire/wheel service is worth the $1200 extra?
