Does anyone know the brand or manufacturer of the belly pan on the Buell official AMA pace bike? I would like to order one or something very similar.

I think the bodywork & bellypan were the Buell Racing parts. Pretty sure of it to be honest.

thanks P_squared...I was able to find the Buell OE racing belly pan, part #L0500.08AZ, but it says only for a stock 1125R with no other body work. I have the stock side fairing already on. I wonder if it would fit and what type of hardware I would need to mount it? I have zero fabricating skills!

Don't think the side fairings will mate up correctly to the bellypan & look good without some serious sweat equity invested.

The fiberglass bodykit is M2000B.08AZ and listed for $1,499.00 (includes front fairing, lowers, belly pan, mounting brackets & hardware)

The carbon fiber bodykit is M2000A.08AZ and listed for $2,439.00 (includes front fairing, lowers & belly pan)

The fiberglass belly pan (L0500.08AZ) looks like a "standalone" product. You might be able to mount it with an aftermarket bodykit (e.g. catalyst or flexiglas).

Brackets aren't difficult. Get some aluminum bar of ~1" wide by ~1/8" thick variety, then bend as needed after finding a mounting point on the bike. Then mark & drill the corresponding holes in the bodywork. Then attach via fasteners of your choosing.

Gbackus...have you fabricated one of these after market belly pans to fit? There are several out there that seem good, but I have no idea how to make the cut out for the kickstand or making the brackets for mount...airtech, catalyst racing composites and even Buell make the pans. Only differenc seems to be the price

I'm thinking of having my stock muffler ceramic coated red instead of worrying about a belly pan. Someone did a photo shop for me and it looked pretty damned cool!

Ravnna, no I haven't. I just figured with it being cheap compared to the others, it's a good place to start.

Jaimec, are you able to post the photo shop pics you had done or send them to my email address? Thanks everyone for the input...I'm a newbie and still trying to figure out how to navigate through the site.

Looks good! What model of Gixxer did you scoop that belly pan from exactly? How much cutting did you have to do? And finally - how is the clearance to the front tire? Seriously looks good man!

a friend gave the belly pan to me so I'll have to ask and find out what year GSXR it came off of.The triming would not have been as much if I hand ths stock muffler. Where the Buell lowers and the belly pan meet I had to trim around 3and 1/4 inches straight across, trimmed about 2 and 1/2 inches out of the kick stand section and need to trim a 4and 1/2 by 4 and 1/2 to clear the drummer pipe right where the head pipe collects into the muffler. Only tools used where a square, sharpie marker, tape measure, drimmel, drilland a 6 inch level. Distance on the front tire to front tip of belly pan is 1and3/16 of an inch.
T_man thx for the nice remarks and I'll let you know what year belly pan it came from tomorrow.
Mock up and trimiing took around 4 or 5 hours. then sent it to the guy who dose paint work for me from time to time.

That looks great Endoman33! You did a really good job on that...I would be afraid to even attempt something like that because I think it would come out butchered.

just to let you guys no...i picked up my 1125R today and had requested some info about fabricating belly pans prior to pick up. The Buell tech was on his honeymoon but relayed certain years of Kawasaki zx-10 and GSXR 1000's work with little fab work. I forget all the specific years, but will relay when he gets back.

The Buell tech says belly pans from '06-'08 Gixxer 1000 and from '05-'07 ZX-10 fit with little fab work. How much to fab one of these for me Endoman33...lol

Endoman33 I think I would name my last born after you...I'm looking at several of these fairing sections the Buell tech told me fit, but I honestly can't see how some of the years would work. I would like to find a black piece so I could eliminate the cost of painting, but there is a local guy around me that is fairly cheap. I would definitely be willing to work something out with you...give me some ideas about different pans you think would work, I open for suggestions! I would love to come close to the Triumph 675.

I got ahold of a friend of mine that works at a Triumph dealership, he has some body work laying around he's going to send me so I can see what might work for you.
I need to know what exhaust you have? Also need to make sure you do have the Buell lowers?
Thanks,Micah
