So i visited a local bike dealership today and started talking shop with the owner...he had noticed my large Buell sticker on the back window of my Avalanche and commented about something that he had heard earlier this week... It seems that my friend had heard that HD was selling off MV Agusta and will be putting a "halt" on further production of Buell motorcycles...not shutting it down, but rather stop all production and wait until things get better(?)... Now mind you, if this rumor is true and i'm the only one that hasn't heard this yet, please tell me what you know...I've been very preoccupied with my new off brand toy and haven't frequented this forum regularly as i use to... Yeah, I know i'm late...as soon as I got home, i logged on and posted this, then went to read some threads and saw that it was already known! I haven't been focused on Buell's lately, i've been preoccupied with my new foreign toy and just heard the news... Really sad to hear this as i truly feel that Buell is a American icon and inspiration.... It would have been nice to own a 2010 RR, I was looking forward to this bike! |
