I spent my hard earned money on what I thought was a complete shop manula

I got the motor / frame manual no data on trouble shooting the electrics

Just how many books do I have to buy ?

On the content, It looks like they have been talking to hayes

I am disapointed......

Also a bit annoyed.
What'adydo......
I buy'em for all my bikes and cars. This is the first time two haven't been sold at the same time...together, same package.

BUT, by the time you buy both (or all three if you want the whole set)...it's only 20 or 25 bucks "more" than other manuals I've bought.
Go figure...

Mike

For the 1125R I'd suggest:

  • Parts Manual
  • Service Manual
  • Electronic Diagnostics (largest of the three)

Excellent manuals.

Yeah, the service manuals for the 1125 are about a $150 package. At least there is no teaser Clymer for $40 that is terrible.

I only have the service manual, and it has everything in it that I want.

I simply want to be able to do my own services. It's got the torque values, and step by step "how to" for everything I would attempt myself including rotating the engine and doing a valve adjustment.

yes..

I found what I read was just a bit disjointed, (Pix on next page) I have contributed to the KV on tubers in the past I guess that I can on the '25

I and many folks I know are "visual learners" pix and lots of them are required,

BTW Jeremy i found the box in the breeze way when I got home }good thing I live in a reasonably nice place, had that been done at my previous residence I would just be out my 160.00$

FED EX left it at my front door, funny the brown truck leaves it at the office for me to get at my convience, and then leave a note on the door telling me its there.

My comment on hayes, I purchased a hayes manual on my ford truck, it covers from '95 to '01 and I have an '01 you must dig the info out, poor quality photos, poorly structured instrctions. incomplete data in some parts, trying to get info on front suspension repairs and problems forget it..

the buell manual is some better, its more complete than my X1 manual but not as well organized in some respects

sorry to bitch

bike is running fine, other than the mirrors its great..

Ah, you don't need to know what's behind you anyway. Just check for flashing blue lights and if you don't see any, go faster. : )

you lads in the USA should think yourselves lucky, I always buy the workshop manuals, parts books and elec diag manuals for every bike I have owned since I was 17 years old. Since I have had a few bikes in the last 33 yrs I have spent a fortune, and Buell/Harley manuals here in the UK are very expensive compared to the Jap stuff
