I spent a day riding the dragon and the surrounding area... killer time...

Only saw one other buell there =\

Lots of Italians though, it was a very cool experience to say the least...

Hope you hit some of the other great roads around the area. Many are nearly as good, with a lot less traffic.

The Cherohala Skyway is awesome too.

I rode there a few times when I lived on the east coast. My SV650 was pretty good. My FZ1 was too much of a chore to ride there.

Were you in first gear the whole time?

Thats some pretty impressive lean angle for the street! Good to see you came away unscathed. More than I can say for our little riding group this weekend; an FZR400 mounted friend ate pavement while attempting a pass on the outside (of a cloverleaf). And to think it was the ride home from a track day! Anyways - nice pics - keep the rubber side down!

That's going to be me next weekend! I'm booked into Deals Gap motel the 20-26th and the weather looks agreeable all week.

Bye bye chicken strips!
