Thanks to another poster, I was able to order the decals for my 09 from the 2010 M/Y. That part number list was unclear as to which went with which colour plastics, so I ended up guessing and getting the ones for white (which I wanted) and for black (which I may use on the full side fairings I have on order).

Also note that the intake cover 'Buell' sticker is smaller and is now 2-D vs the 3-D of previous Buells. For positioning I chose to place it, you'll note from the shadowing, dead centre on the shallow trenches on either side of the intake cover. One is missing because somehow I got the idea they were sold in pairs; I've another black on white one on order.

And no, I don't know why I'm still able to post given that I asked Blake to remove me; because I don't appear to have the willpower to avoid sharing what I learn!

Again, with the guessing game I ended up with a red on black 'Buell', so I popped it into the blank space on the tail. The colours on it are 'a la' Marvel Comics and very nice.

Looking really nice! You seem to have an eye for placement and color.

Did you put any of the front graphics on?

I like the left side "R" graphic, but the right side just doesn't flow as nicely to me.

I think I need to see a 10 in stock. Since my local dealer still has 2 08's and 3 09 CR's I doubt I will see one soon.

Yea sorry about that, I honestly have no idea what color goes for what. I recently ordered them from Precision for my 09 CR and had Tripp confirm the ones I was ordering were for the red.

The bike looks pretty good. What will you do if Michelin tires are on sale?

Obviously from the looks of the front tire, he needs that quality sticky Pirelli rubber.

Is that a completely new airbox cover, or just a vent near the gas cap?

Looks like an XB air box.

The XB airboxes have that vent.
Otherwise, identical to the 1125 boxes.

So can you help us decode the 2010 decal colors/part numbers now?

If I have a 2010 parts book I will do that.
Heading in to work in an hour.

There is a whole page of new parts with grafix and new decals for 2010.
I have to get an antique computer that is hooked to my scanner up and post a scan... too much to type.

OK, after firing up the 12 year old Mac to get the scan, then digging out the 9 year old Mac to get the image to my 6 year old Mac...
Here ya go. : )

Guess I did it the hard way (like I do everything) and just bought the decals and affixed them myself after scaling the pics from the Buell site; rather than buying all new plastics. Certainly was cheaper my way.
