"I've never heard a bike as loud as" I have been thinking about this one for a while..finally have a handle on it....

1996...AMA Prostar World Finals...several european teams came over to play...some truly wild machinery...like the worlds quickest Thumper...Jan Honee with a 500cc supercharged nitro burning Jawa..

But Drumroll please...the Loudest Bike I have ever heard...Supercharged Mega inch Nitro Harley of Roel Keodam from Germany.

Followed a distant second by any open piped TZ750 Yamaha : )

How about ANY vintage open pipe race bike? I seem to recall CB350's and CB450's as the most annoying loudest bikes in the pit's when I was racing. The slowest AND loudest. By far. An interesting combination!

Anybody ever heard a Yamaha Warrior with straight pipes? Holy $hit. This guy I used to work with had one with straight pipes w/ no baffles. I was about 5 (!) car lengths behind him one day, with my helmet on, and when he blipped the throttle I got a stabbing pain in one of my ears. Oooof.

Thaaaaat was obnoxious.

There has been ALOT of complaining in this thread but not all that much COMPARISON....

How does a drummer on a 1125 compare to a Buell race setup on an S1W?

I've heard a tuber with the Supertrapp pipe, which I think is the race setup.

The Drummer is WAY louder, no comparison whatsoever.
