Wow. I think a Rev B cover is about $250...not sure if that includes the internal parts.

Yes the cover is very expensive apart from the piston/sleeve kit. ONe can see the benefit for Buell in developing a method to save the covers.

Maybe they're just changing them since once that fluid gets on the cover the finish is shot.

Mine has some staining from the fluid. I am pretty sure they might change it if you insist.

After all, if you ride alot, there's wear and tear. I don't think it's a big deal. I have personally done some stuff accidentally to the hurt the finish of the bike.

The CORRECT part number is X2086.1AM.

There are currently 9 on back order.

The overall kit is X2086.1AM, which contains:

  • CF0007.1AM (2) O-rings
  • X0087.3AM (1) Sleeve
  • X1086.3AM (1) Hydraulic Piston Assembly
    • CR0001.3AM (1) Piston Lining
    • CR0002.3AM (1) Piston Lining
    • X0086.3AM (1) Piston

For questions . . . . contact your AUTHORIZED BUELL DEALER.

Caveat: I do not PERSONALLY own an 1125R and have had it pointed out to me that I have no clue what I am talking about. Act accordingly.

Court,
Does that PN fit in a Rev A clutch cover on the 2008?
