I want to exchange my handle bar for a drag bar kind of like the lsl one: http://www.blueridgeperformance.net/images/lsldrag bars.JPG

But do you know one that will fit our fitting and controls since the stock bars are thicker on the middle section?

Unless you have midget arms, I can't see how that would be remotely comfortable. I'd think the stering would feel all messed up as well.

That said, you will need to find a bar the tapers. I know this is popular with dirt bikes, not aware of anyone who does it with drag style bars.

I bet you could make something, though.

Do you know what thickness our handle bars are at the ends and at the center?

well the ends have to be 7/8" simply because thats what size of bar the buell controls fit. and the center seems to be 1-1/8" wouldnt have guessed that, but that seems to be what the tape says when i measure it.

your going to have a hard time with that...

i believe that precision eng. has clamps that would make any style bars fir. its an adapter clamp. then you can mount pro tapers of drag bars as long as they taper down to fit the controls.

Aren't they just motoX style 'fatbars'? Should be the standard fatbar 1 1/8" diameter on the center then tapering down to 7/8" at the grips. Renthal, Hagen, etc make different bars in various bends/shapes. Or you can try any of the 'streetfighter' web sites for their options. Without trying to run afoul of website protocol, there is a company in Arizona that specializes in streetfighter parts you might want to check out.
