I have a spare set of XB wheels for my Ulysses, and besides the pulley and brake being on opposite sides on the 1125 (I'm assuming you could flip the wheel and bolt up the 1125 pulley), will the wheels work?

I'd like to have a spare set for track rubber.

I realize they probably won't work, but it never hurts to ask.

You can use XB wheels in the front with no changes.

In the rear, you need a different pulley, and you MAY need a different rotor.

That's all buell ever did with the 1125 wheels!

An XB wheel fits everything; a ulysses wheel is a reinforced XB wheel

if you want to put a wheel on your 1125, you'll need the different bearing and spacer sets

I know I need a different pulley, but if I simply flip a rear XB wheel...will it work?

Will the axle fit?

I don't mind buying an extra pulley, and brake rotor if necessary, to be able to have an extra set of wheels.

The axle should fit. It's the same wheel (dimensionally) with different hardware.

It is the same wheel. The brake rotor has the extra holes in it for access to caliper bolts on the 1125.

All 2008 and newer XBs also have the 1125-style rear brake rotor.

Sweet!

So basically for the cost of a pulley and rotor (plus screws), I can have an extra set of wheels for my 1125.

Wonderful news!!!

They will be getting some sticky track rubber mounted to them ASAP.

I have a set of Trans Amber Lightning wheels on Loretta.
I took my wheels off, sold them to Spectrum, I think, and put my rotors and pulley on the Lightning wheels.
Same bearings they came with, 18k miles ago.

Thanks to americanmadexb for the Ambers.

Curious as to how many teeth the 1125R rear pulley has. Anybody have that figure?
