Ive got insurance money to play with in a couple weeks from now, from the collision i had last week. a new swing arm, exhaust and front wheel are included in the estimate.. but i think i want to add a little twist as i start re-installing parts...

1. '09 swing arm([plus] bobbins pre installed, [minus] wrong color)

2. keep diamond blue wheels for some DOT race tires for track, buy cherry bomb red wheels for street tires and street use

3. add red translucent air box

4. visualize it with a drummer! (i wont be replacing the dinged up stock exhaust with another millennium cruiser exhaust)

visualize my tech spec grip skins on the bike also(i didnt feel like chopping those in)

whattya think? good color combo or mistake?

I like the red/black theme for sure, but am not sure about the blue swingarm in there...Not sure if I like it or dislike it personally.

If I had the '09 with black frame/swingarm, I would be going with this theme, except I'd probably stick with black airbox and just add the red Buell logos to it.

Wow! Translucent red airbox... why didn't I think of that? Wonder what it would look like?

Pizza, so are you painting the swingarm to match your frame? Have you considered mounted a CR swingarm for the shorter gearing? If I was playing like you are, the CR gearing would be automatic.

i dont think ill paint either the swingarm or the frame to match eachother. the tech spec grip pads cover an incredibly large amount of the frame.

i have considered the CR swingarm as i need to replace my belt also within the repairs.

i cant decide if i want to trade my top speed and low freeway RPM's for getting closer to better using gearing on the track yet... i have a little while to possibly talk myself into the mod... plus having to figure out how to get my speedo correct again..
