Hi guys, I've had the worst service ever from my dealer here in the UK. Complained to Buell UK and they don't give a shit. Does anyone have a contact email etc. of someone in Buell U.S. HQ. that I can get in touch with?

I would try BCS ^ and explain the issues you are having and let them work on it, just be patient.

Also, I took the time out the other day to call Customer Service and let them know what an awesome job my dealer has done working with a couple of my issues. Loner bike, researching subjects and asking questions from Buell tech about new parts and *Clutch Cover* etc. The lady said it's few and far between when someone calls in for praise so it was welcomed.

It is equally important to give praise when deserved.

I don't know if BMC does anything for dealers that receive praise, but they certainly should.

Buell Customer Service has nothing to do with Buell UK.

I'd suggest a couple things.

  • First - forget venting on the internet. Terms like "sucks", "don't give a shit" and so forth mean nothing and get your correspondence sent immediately to the trash.
  • Write a letter - be specific with regards to dates, what you needed done, who you spoke to, what was said, your expectations and your experience.
  • BE SPECIFIC
  • Strive to communicate effectively. Give the folks you are writing the ability to help you.

I'd write my letter to:

Mr. Jon Flickinger, President
Buell Motorcycle Company
2799 Buell Drive
East Troy, WI 53120

Few folks know or truly appreciate how committed the folks at Buell are to providing the best experience they can.

Both Erik Buell and Jon Flickinger are avid riders and good racers. They understand motorcycles and the entire experience. Jon's Father was also an avid rider and these guys have it in their blood.

BUT . . . . write a helpful letter. Communicate in such a fashion that allows them to respond in a helpful manner.

There are lots of bugs in the dealer system. No one at Harley-Davidson knows the system of the dealers better than Jon Flickinger. Give him facts, be polite and respectful and, based in my experience, he'll do whatever he can to help.
