Yeah, I guess it is in there and the letter was written long ago--before the "dyno demostration". I am surprised to see it published actually at this point in time.

You know what really pisses me off is that the editor says the manufacturers should innovate within the rules. F that. Innovation doesn't have any rules other than those of physics as far as I am concerned. Racing used to be a place to test innovation, not a place that constricts how far and in what direction innovation can go.

Your'e talking of long, long ago.

"Innovation" has lost itself to "spec" rules in almost ALL forms of racing.

I pretty much feel the same as you...but those thoughts are a thing of the past.
Except in your own garage.
