Anyone else's rates jump this year? Mine more than doubled. No violations. Damn California.

Dang. That's way cheap. My renewal is a little over 1k for 15/30 and 500 comp/collision deductible. And it's the cheapest, by far, compared to the other quotes I have gotten.

I'm at 415/year with some extra rider/passenger coverage through Dairyland. Located in Western PA (north of Pittsburgh), 32 years old, and also with a long record of moving violations (NOT bragging...I was young and dumb until recently).

I pay $360 a year (I think it might be less than that), 250/500 liability, $500 deductible, one accident still on my record.

Luckily I own mine and only keep liability and comp on it. If I lay it down, it's on me. I'll roll the dice. I got quotes similar to incognito. My driving record sucks unfortunately.

My coverage nearly tripled......no tickets, no accidents, no claims. Oh, I did get a warning in 1975 (must have been three or four years old at least...ha ha) for a bad tail light. I think my issue is the other end of the age thing, where they think I'm an old guy having a mid life crisis. (I did THAT years ago... and promise to buy a Corvette next time.) Anyway, I think Boogieman is on the money....it is raw numbers. I went with another provider after going through Harley, where they found me a VERY reasonable rate. I recently visited my "local" dealer (only 75 miles away) and there were six (yes six) banged up 112rs in the shop for body work.

When 2 tickets drop off in a few months it'll reduce to under 1K/yr.

$624 per year for my 1125r and XB12S, Allstate with one ticket. Remember that your credit score also plays into what you pay for insurance, just another way for the insurance company to dig into the working mans pocket.
