Western-Reserve HD/Buell is going to produce and sell some "affordable" limited edition 08 1125R's. I can't give away all the details but it will have full fairing, multi-colored paint (race-theme), different colored wheels, remapped and dyno'd engine, race type pegs, no passenger accommodations (race tail section), steering damper, race type levers and more. Great way to move some stock. I'm sure they will look GREAT! If they have any pipe on them, I would bet it won't be the Buell pipe or race ECM (anybody hear EPA calling their number???) Teach, keep up the great work! Neil S. | ||

Hopefully they dont do like my local Buell dealership did. Put the bright blue Firebolt wheels on an 08 and wanted 2500 dollars more than msrp....and it looked stupid. | ||

If I were a dealer with a few leftover 1125R on the floor, I'd "Geico" them up. That oughta sell a few. RMR and Geico might have something to say about it though, which is only reasonable. | ||

Hey, whatever became of that "special edition" red (Pirelli-sponsored?) '08 1125R ? This was way back, about a year ago. I don't recall the contest winner ever being announced in either Fuell or Buell's web site. |
