As many of you may know I recently upgraded to the 25R from the Firebolt. It appears my neighbor across the street had the same inkling (Firebolt to 25R upgrade). Curious if he's here...

Odd that of maybe 4 Firebolt owners in Tucson I live near 3 and even stranger that my neighbor and I managed to make the same move within 2 weeks.

Could it be "keeping up with the Jones'" mentality? : )

Congrats to both you and your neighbor!

Could be, lol.

Whats funnier is that I choose to post here rather than walk the 30 ft to knock on his door. Ahh, the internet age...

I've only seen a firebolt a couple times around town and a tuber once. Didn't realize there were so many other tucsonians on here.

I'm on Glenn and Stone. The 25R's in the shop for a spedo/blinker fix but I get it back tomorrow (after 3 weeks of being in the shop and 1 day of owning it, lol). My black Firebolt use to be there on the sidewalk. Guy across the street has a yellow Firebolt and 25R.

Ive seen a yellow(?) Firebolt parked near 4th ave and other non-black Firebolt cruising the slums of the UA. There's also a CR cruising around when I'm driving to/from work.

I'm on the east side, camino seco and broadway. I'd love to get a 1125R, but won't be able to afford it for a while. I'd go demo one and get a free lock, but will be laid up in bed for another month or so, and off the bike for another 2 or 3, thanks to an ankle injury and surgery.

14d, the Tucson dealership wont let you demo a Buell (and I'm sure the same goes for Phoenix's). I went in with the free lock ad and asked to demo the 25R, they told me no, flat out. Only way to demo one is if its a major condition of buying one, and they'd require you to buy it if anything happened. I pointed out that Buell HQ had on their website that they were a participating dealer for Buell demos, they didn't give two shits. Probably one of the most unfriendly customer service situations I've ever been in.

Mt Lemon is a sweet ride, just watch those curves, they can be hairpins, especially the first if you roll up on it not realizing its starting. Happened to me one night and by all rights I should've gone off the road.

Clbofaz, well that makes me feel a little better that I'm not missing it. Not surprising though, they typically suck. Saw a commercial on tv stating you could come in and test ride a Harley no obligations, wonder if they're honoring that.

PM replied.

Lemmon is alot of fun, can also be pretty dangerous. I know a good number of people that have laid it down up there, and there is a motorcycle crash once or twice a week typically, usually not involving another vehicle.
