My xb12s blew out the splines that hold the clutch hub on and it was deemed under warranty, so i picked my my 08 1125r yesterday. All i can say is wow, Very nice, smooth and everything my xb12 was with a shot of steroids. The 1125 has a little surge under 4k but it only has 10 miles on it so im not complaining about it. I love the ztl2 system, anybody who hasnt swapped their older xb over to it DO IT NOW, much better feel over the original. Shift light, come on the needle changing is kind of a joke (no im not going that far into the range yet) but seriously if you are looking at the needle anyways you know when to shift, an actual light would be nice. Overal extremely happy and consider it an upgrade in every way.

Dropnstyle, I found that the needle lighting up is actually very noticeable without looking directly at it (peripheral vision only). Check to see what brightness your instrument cluster is at...Maybe bumping it up a notch or two brighter will help you notice the needle lighting up more easily.
