I have a 09 cr and i put a jardine on it. everything was fine for about 500 miles, now its backfiring on decel. how do i check if its running rich or lean. i see a lot of posts about afv's,but i don't know what i need to find that info.it has the latest flash (12z). i spoke to my dealer and got no where.could some body please point me in the right direction

to check AFV you need to enter the diagnostic mode. Hold the toggle and mode switches in and at the same time turn the key on. This will enter the diagnostic mode. it will allow you to toggle through the various information until you get to the AFV front and rear to see them. They are shown individually.

Check the installation on the exhaust to make sure there are no leaks. My XB did the same thing, tighten up the exhaust connections and see if it goes away, before you do anything else...

+1 on checking for exhaust leaks first.
