Got my TaylorMade case covers in the mail last night.
I'll be putting them on this weekend.

While a tad on the expensive side, if the bike and I end up on the ground, they should give plenty of protection and enable the OEM case to hold all of the oil inside where it's supposed to be...so if I'm able...I can still drive it home.
I'm afraid of the pucks on the cases..just punching their way into the cover. Plus I've seen pictures of the lower part of the case covers ground almost thru and all the way thru.

My last bout with the ground took out five ribs, dislocated a shoulder and turned my thigh as blue as a new pair of Levis (within about an hour)....and I drove the ten+ miles home.

My ol FZR1000 kept all it's oil inside where it belongs that allowed me to do this.
Can't say much for a couple other things, but it got me home.

No pictures as of yet, sorry.
Was hoping to get then on this weekend, but not sure that's gonna happen.

Check their website -
http://www.racetaylormade.com/

They don't have any Buell case protector pictures, but they are basically the same as the other pictures shown.

Just came back from first track day with them on. Hopefully the'll never be engaged but it is comforting to have them there.

They bolt right on to the case screws, the install is as easy as it can be. The fit is excellent, it's like they are molded right onto the engine.

Right cover

Left cover

I have clutch cover rev A with leak and all. The engine case covers haven't been on for so long and my weep isn't really bad so I can't say if the cover made any difference. It seems that it could be possible that the cover holds the clutch fluid as the fit is tight. But I doubt that it is good for the cover surface to have possibly collected clutch oil sitting there all the time. I think I would rather have the weep fixed...

So they do make a Rev A and B cover? Your clutch is still weeping for sure. BMC should address this soon, hopefully.

I've requested information directly at Taylormade via mail but they answered me to order directly on the site.
No Buell information on their web site.
Someone can provide me order information, both for left and right case and both type A and B??

Salut,
Meme
