How laid down? Can you get a dealer to inspect that side (esp radiators and mounts) for damage? What's the price?

Fork seal leaking isn't normally a big deal, except for the "laid down" part. If they dropped it hard and damaged the fork you're looking at more expense. There is a set on eBay that looks good for $300 right now.

"fun to ride but sound like people have big issues with these bikes please help"

The only issue I see frequently on here is related to turn signals failing. There are other things that go wrong, just like there are with any other motorcycle that is massed produced but I haven't heard of many "Big issues" with the 1125. I have an 08 1125R and I love it.

Some 2008's have gone new for as low as $8,000 so the one you are looking at should be about half that amount if it been laid down.

Most people here are owners and will tell you to get it at any price.

If you go through the archives you can see the 2008 evolution..

This absolutely absurd and inaccurate statement.

"Most people here are owners and will tell you to get it at any price."

And others are trolls that have no experience with the particular bike yet somehow seem to find their way into nearly ever discussion involving "advice" on the bike. Listen to the people that own the bike and ride it everyday and make your own mind up.

It is a great price!

before you start enjoying it, take it to a good dealer and have the tech perform the recalls and upgrades suggested in technical bulletins.

$5100? I'd say steal it.

The only issue big or otherwise that I have with my '08 1125R is that I hardly ride my Ducati anymore since I'm on the Buell as often as possible.

If I could get my hands on one for that price I wouldnt think twice. It should still be under factory warranty.
