Chris,

That story sounds too familiar, picked up a 09 1125CR on Saturday, I turned it on and ran through the lights, rear turn signal out. Got it replaced on the spot did all the paperwork and went home on the Florida Turnpike "Autoban" at 0 mph with the clutch disengaged -

I'm starting to think I should have waited another year on this one.

I did ride the bike through a typical afternoon thunderstorm and it got soaked, water in the tail light, pooling underneath the passenger seat, but so far everything working, except the speedo of course.

Yeah, service=warranty with the dealer. Odd terminology. Best investment ever. Paid for itself in the first 24 hrs. lol.

Any other industry would hire more people if it took 5 weeks to do anything. Ive built power plants in not much more time, lol. Some dealers will let you ride it while waiting for parts, if its safe - as I was going to do if it takes too long to get a new IC.

Buell is back east - how do you get 5 weeks for delivery? Maybe manufacturing and delivery together but UPS does anywhere in the US within a week or less. They told me 5-7 business days which is BS - but figured there's padding in that.

Good luck.
